AUDIOBOOM TEAMS UP WITH THE PODCAST EXCHANGE IN CANADA AND HIRES VETERAN SALES EXECUTIVE JENNI SKAUG

Podcast Platform Audioboom Teams Up with The Podcast Exchange (TPX) to Sell Audioboom’s Inventory in Canada

NEW YORK — February 15, 2018 — Audioboom, a global podcasting platform that consolidates the business of on-demand audio, has announced a strategic partnership with the recently launched TPX which will now sell audioBoom’s podcast inventory in Canada.

TPX uses market research, advanced metrics, and geo-targeting to give advertisers better access to the Canadian podcast audience. The company is lead by Jean-Marie Heimrath, former President of Standard Broadcasting’s Sound Source Networks and Iceberg Radio, Jeff Ulster, co-publisher of The Canadian Podcast Listener report and Director of Digital Talk Content for CBC; and Bob Kane who joins TPX after six years at CBC.

Canada is Audioboom’s fourth largest territory for podcast consumption, and TPX will work with advertising agencies and brands throughout the country to increase revenue for audioBoom’s publisher partners, including Casefile, No Such Thing As A Fish and Undisclosed; and original content podcasts including The 45th, Empty Frames, It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey, Mafia, Mission To Zyxx and Night Call.

Audioboom Hires Veteran Sales Executive Jenni Skaug

Audioboom hires Senior Sales Director, Jenni Skaug to lead brand direct and digital agency partnerships. Skaug brings over a decade’s worth of of podcast sales experience and will focus on engaging major brands new to podcast advertising while managing existing relationships with top tier, established brands in the podcast advertising space.

Skaug transitioned through various positions at Ad Results Media, starting as a Media Planner and eventually moving into the role of VP, Business Development. She most recently worked as VP, Business Development at CastPlus.
