AUDIOBOOM APPOINTS NEW CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
New York, NY — July 13, 2021 — Audioboom, the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Mancusi as Chief Revenue Officer and Erica Tong as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.
Mancusi brings ten years of podcast industry experience and served most recently as Audioboom’s EVP Global, Sales & Development before moving into the CRO position. Before joining Audioboom in 2015, he worked at both CBS and Podcast One.
“It has been a pleasure working at Audioboom for the last five years and developing a market-leading advertising model,” said Mancusi. “I look forward to the challenge of exploring new revenue opportunities across the group.”
In his new role, Mancusi will continue to drive Audioboom’s core advertising product, develop international monetization partnerships, and expand revenue through ad tech.
Tong began her career with GroupM before joining Havas Media in 2014 as a National Broadcast Buyer. Since 2016, she has led Audioboom’s sales operations, most recently as SVP, Sales Planning & Operations.
As COO Tong will lead advertising operations, research & development, HR and communications, and will oversee the company’s major operational projects.
