AUDIOBOOM AND RAINN WILSON TEAM UP FOR NEW SCRIPTED ORIGINAL PODCAST
Dark Air with Terry Carnation Debuts on April 1st, 2021
NEW YORK, NY — March 31, 2021 — Audioboom announces the premiere of new fictional podcast Dark Air. The latest show from the Audioboom Originals Network is a fictional, darkly comedic podcast written by, and starring, Rainn Wilson.
Wilson, best known for playing Dwight Schrute in the NBC sitcom The Office, reprises the role of Terry Carnation, who first appeared as a character in 2019’s hit podcast Radio Rental. Carnation is America’s most beloved late-nite A.M. radio talk show personality, and in Dark Air takes center stage.
The scripted show explores the life of Carnation as he speaks to outrageous callers and discusses bizarre topics like UFOs, the paranormal, the occult, the Illuminati, whether or not Kim Jong Un is secretly a robot, and more.
Dark Air with Terry Carnation was developed by Rainn Wilson and Aaron Lee, and produced with Kelly & Kelly for the Audioboom Originals Network. The first episode will premiere on Thursday, April 1, 2021 with new episodes released every Thursday.
Alongside Wilson, the show features a strong cast of recurring guest stars such as Karan Soni (Deadpool), Al Madrigal (The Daily Show), and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community). Guests appearances in the inaugural season include Susan Sarandon, Angela Kinsey, and Mindy Sterling.
